Summer Tweet’away Contest

Where:
Online – hosted through http://twitter.com/humanitysnow

Why:
To clean out the proverbial closets and to give snowboarders something to do in the summertime.

How:
You must be following Humanity Snowboards on Twitter (http://twitter.com/humanitysnow). All news regarding the contest will be pushed through that channel, and the final URL for the show’s stream will be delivered to our Twitter community. We will also be sending out reminders to our mailing list (you can sign up on our site) and post blogs on our website: http://humanitysnow.com. Each question will be delivered by a video from Humanity HQ, and so each product will get shown off by the contest hosts, live.

What:
Each hour, starting at 8am PST, we will be giving away a prize. The prizes will range from snowboard discounts to free lessons from champion snowboarders to a brand-new still-in-the-plastic Humanity snowboard (winner will get to choose size, shape, camber, and select from our line of designs).

Interested in getting involved?

* Each hour (could be 1/2 hour, depending on the amount of prizes), we will be featuring a new quiz question. During that time, we will do the following to promote all of our sponsors:
* Each hour (or 1/2 hour) we will change our Twitter background to feature the company(ies) who are sponsoring that question. So, for example, if Liberty Boardshop is giving away a $100 giftcard, our background will have their logo, site url, twitter url, etc.
* There will be a new blog entry with each new quiz question which will additionally put the sponsoring brand on blast.
* We will also send multiple tweets during that timeframe putting Liberty on blast.
* In addition, the contest page will have permanent information about all of our sponsors, their prizes, etc.
* If your company has some fun snowboard-related facts that could be used in the quiz, we will consider making the question for your product about your company/product (again, as long as it is interesting and the information is available online…doesn’t have to be easy to find, just needs to be available).
