you havent been to any other mountains then...... there are lots of good mountains, but my favorite is kirkwood ca... park is huge, beer is chaep (cheaper than most) lift tickets are cheap, high speed chairs, long runs, NO lines, and no toursits.... and chances are 6/10 its dumping fresh powder when you go....

Its called an opinion.... lol

Yup ... opinion, for sure. You will get a 1000 different answers because of everyone likes something different. Plus there's a faction out there who would never tell you their favourite because they love having the mountain to themselves ... ha ha.

The truth is the best mountain is the one that you can get to tomorrow morning when it's puking champagne the night before. That's my motto.

No matter what people say, every mountain has their good year and their bad years for snow and weather.

Let it snow, baby !!!!!

whistler/blackcomb, true that.

whistler?? seriously no one can really touch whistler. But if you want to talk about what we have in the lower 48 i throw in... Powder Mountain Utah, Telluride CO, Big Sky MT, Jackson Hole Wy, and Snowmass CO. I guess ill try not to be biased with my mountain.

Take it to the east coast. and hit up Stowe.

even though west shits on east when we're talking about mountains.

All of these I have ridin several times and the order of my top fav's. Here is how I rank them (unfortuantely, Mt. Hood is way at the bottom. And I first started there):
1. Whistler/Blackcomb (Best all around)
2. Jackson Hole (Steepest, make you shit your pants steep terrain)
3. Red Mountain, BC (Steep terrain and good cold powder)
4. Tahoe Seirras (too many to list all, but generally speaking Alpine Meadows), Mt. Rose is pretty awesome for small resort too.
5. Mt. Bachelor, Ore (insane powder when ya get it)
6. Big Mtn, MT (On a good snow day.. awesome in Hell Roring Basin)
7. The Canyons (Used to be Wolf Mtn) Utah
8. Grand Targhee, ID (powder)

Fun mtn's to ride:
Scheitzer MTN, Idaho (Great snow and fun steeps)
49 degrees North (Best tree skiing ever, perfectly spaced)
Mission Ridge, Wa. (Bomber cliffs will make you pucker)
Mt. Hood Meadows (Cascade Concrete, but when the systems come in cold the bowls are awesome and Heather canyon)
Lookout Pass (nothing hard, but over 400 inches of fluffy pow a yr! and no attitudes)
Timberline on Mt Hood.. the parks
Ski Bowl on Mt. Hood when the snow level is low, very fun.
Park City, Utah (Steeps are too short, but pretty good. Mostly about the park there. Personally a little overrated).
